Crozet Arts offers a wide range of music classes—from cello, flute, guitar, and handbells to joyful Music Together experiences for children—welcoming musicians at every age and stage. Making music in community builds listening, confidence, and connection, creating shared moments of learning, expression, and belonging that resonate far beyond the classroom.

Suzuki Cello

At Crozet Arts

Suzuki cello classes at Crozet Arts are led by Resident Artist Dr. Beth Cantrell, an internationally respected cellist and Suzuki educator with over 30 years of teaching experience.

 

A former Chair of the Suzuki Association of the Americas and a Registered Teacher Trainer, Dr. Cantrell brings Suzuki’s belief that every child can learn to life through joyful, rigorous instruction rooted in listening, community, and care.

 

With an active performance career and a long-standing private studio at Crozet Arts,

"Dr. Beth—as her students call her—offers students of all ages a rich musical foundation grounded in excellence, empathy, and connection through music.

Music Together

At Crozet Arts

Led by early childhood educators David Berzonsky & Estela Knott, Blue Ridge Music Together offers fun-filled, research based, non-performance-oriented, mixed-aged music classes for families with children 0-5 years of age and their loving adults. 

 

Make music an exciting part of your child’s life! Explore musical play, child-friendly instruments, songbooks, and CDs that you use at home. Regardless of your own music ability, you will contribute to your child’s music learning—and form everlasting bonds.​

More Music Offerings

From intensive workshops to one-on-one lessons, our music instruction programs offer a variety of options for students to learn technique, music theory, and musicianship in a friendly, encouraging setting.  Our offerings help players build skills and experience the joy of making music.

Music classes and lessons run in individualized session lengths—usually 4 to 7 weeks long. If you're looking to start or join mid-session (or don't see a registration option that works for you) get in touch!
